Peter Beard is a living legend and an icon of photography. Known for keeping elaborate diaries documenting his life, friends, family, and travels through Africa, he has become emblematic of the pursuit of art, adventure, beauty and, ultimately, liberation. He lives between Montauk, New York City, and Kenya with his wife Nejma and daughter Zara.
